While alexander conquered Persia he eventually came to the capital city of Persia and what some people don't know is that instead of pursuing Darius right away he partied and stayed in he capital city for a long time before continuing on to capture Darius many famous stories are contrived from these days of partying another thing that is showed is Alexander's youth he was yet 21 years old and any veteran general at the time would've kept pursuing Darius as Darius was almost caught.
