Call of the wild was great book off death and pulling and working. (A dog dies) and fighting with other dog's the main character is buck his main enemy is spits and there is a lot of action and running around and it's during the Klondike gold rush. Where dogs where kidnapped and some people paid over $500 for one dog buck was paid for by $300!
